Despite a rather disastrous attempt to visit Madame Tussauds (three-hour queue? I don’t think so!) we had a thankfully successful day out in London this Bank Holiday weekend. We took a stroll around Covent Garden (loved the cute Moomin shop!) before seeing some kooky modern art at the Tate (including a cloth-covered sewing machine – no I’m not sure why either) and finishing the day with a look around the fab Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair.
I was just about to say I’m super jealous that you got to have a look around Judys Vintage fair, but I just checked – and its in Cambridge on the 18th May. Waaaah!!! (and then I just checked again, and both my boys have parties to attend that day – nooooo!!!) So I’m back to super jealous again ;)
I’d been wanting to go to a Judys fair for ages but kept missing it too – so don’t worry, I’m sure your time will come ;)
Love that spike art ;) So cool
Owww I totally missed that Moomin shop! Need. To. Go. Back. To. London.
Another time though, the money does not allow me ;-)
I know, I already want to go back! Might have to save a bit first though ;)
Judy’s Vintage Fair looks awesome! A day out in London and I would head straight to Liberty:)
We did pop by but sadly my budget wouldn’t stretch to some Liberty fabric!
I wouldn’t be able to decide what to buy anyway…
The vintage fair looks like you saved the best for last.
Nothing like a day in London to provide inspiration! Thanks for the like ! X
The vintage fair looks great. Madame Tussaud’s is a nightmare to get in…even when you have a group booking…and that was already 13 years ago!
I loved spending a day in this exact manner when I lived in London! Still miss it there :).
